My secondary source is an article from Crowded Johnson Center could expand,  by Abigail Shipp,  out of the Kentucky Kernel a local campus newspaper. The article about the how over crowded the Johnson Center has become to be at night. The article talks about how the JC is the busiest around 4pm to 9pm during Monday through Thursday. The article also discusses the proposed idea of renovating the Johnson Center to add 42,000 square feet which would cost 13 or 14 million dollars. The article also discusses is that during the month of January, 10,000 students visited the JC for a total of visits of 57,000 times. 69 percent of students residing on South and Central campus used the JC in the month of January, also 39 percent of students from North campus used the JC, and 34 percent of off-campus students. A quote that stood out was : " “I would never come (to the JC) at night. Ever. That’s just out of the question,” Sapienza said." The article could be used as evidence to discuss the popularity of the Johnson Center due to its superiority as a fitness center on campus.

Looking back on my speech, I notice that some of the things I could have improved on was while I was talking I could of done a better job of speaking in a more enthusiastic tone of voice rather than monotone. I said um more than once and I also failed to move around the room while I was talking. I also could have had a more interesting PowerPoint presentation that could have kept the room more interested. The things I think I did well was I spoke with my hands rather than nervously put them in my pockets or something like that. I also think I did a good job of speaking directly to the class rather than looking down or at one person, I made sure to speak to everyone. I believe that I could have been more prepared, standing in front of everyone caused me to forget a lot of my material out of nervousness and that could have been prevented with note cards which I left in my dorm. There was definitely  room for improvement but I believe that I covered the basics of what the speech's requirements were to cover.

There are not too many places on campus that appeal to me as a place to spend my time besides my bed and the cafeteria. So I thought it would be a good idea to take a step outside of my ordinary sedentary lifestyle and chose the Johnson Center as my place of research. The Johnson Center is the flagship of physical fitness on campus (outside of ROTC) and it will be a great place to learn new workout routines and diet plans to keep myself in better shape, as well as share this knowledge with my peers. However, if the Johnson doesn't work out I think I would be interested in studying the recreational habits of athletes on the Johnson Center field.
